Inventi Ensemble

$7,000 raised from 59 supporters

Inventi Ensemble is an amazing group of passionate musicians and one of the most prolific chamber ensembles in Australia. They had previously launched their debut album on Pozible five years ago, and knew a thing or two about running a successful campaign!

Their recent campaign was for their new album, featuring arrangements of Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg by Glynn Davies. They were able to promote their new campaign using their existing networks and previous Pozible supporters. With a clear goal of funding the recording of the album, the used a range of different media to promote their campaign including the below video of one of their mesmerising live performances. They were also able to target their existing supporter base to convert them into supporters for this campaign.

Monique Clare’s Debut Album

$13,538 raised from 245 supporters

Monique Clare is a singer-songwriter and award-winning cellist, who has played shows with artists like The Maes, Kate Miller-Heidke and Eminem! Her latest effort is one that had been brewing for quite some time while she was touring internationally; her own solo debut album!

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

With some sound knowledge of crowdfunding from her involvement with The Maes successful campaign back in 2018, Monique created an engaging campaign with some amazing incentives for her fans and new supporters alike.

This included some really unique rewards, such as planting native trees on behalf of supporters, a pop-up shop with some vintage clothing she’d picked up from her global travels, and even a local invite to an intimate sunrise concert on her local beach!

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

Monique also had a fantastic and really engaging Pitch Video which clearly showed her quirky personality and highlighted the process of getting her album to this stage. It provided an entry point for her audience, whether they were avid fans or didn’t know much about her past history. With some great footage from past tours, studio sessions and music videos, Monique was able to showcase her vision and used voiceovers to further explain different elements to her viewers. Small Business—David Wadelton

$8,140 raised from 97 supporters

David Wadelton is an artist and photographer based in Melbourne, who created his second artist book titled ‘Small Business’, a documentation of the small but enduring family-run businesses that are fading away, often tucked away on suburban streets. Published by M.33 Melbourne, this is the companion volume to his successful Pozible campaign Suburban Baroque which he ran last year. David gathered a huge photographic archive of shop interiors from all over Melbourne and regional Victoria over ten years, and used these iconic images to his advantage in the promotion of the campaign.

With an audience across multiple social media platforms, David used some of his more engaging visuals from the upcoming book as advertisements to draw in his followers and share more information about his campaign. He was also featured in an article by The Age where he was able to further explain his attraction to “anti-design” and the inspiration for his works. Read the full article below:

Girls Rock! Adelaide

$16,866 raised from 263 supporters

Girls Rock! is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation providing music and mentoring programs for girls, trans and gender diverse young people aged 10–17. They work to support gender equality and diversity in the music industry, through tackling these issues from the ground up and teaching young folks through workshops and hands-on sessions. They had planned their second-ever program for July 2020, but due to COVID-19 they had to postpone their week-long camp until next year.

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

They used their existing Instagram platform to showcase their campaign, and created some engaging content to keep their followers updated along the way.

Their campaign strategy was super effective because they were able to hit smaller funding goals and then use the amazing Stretch Targets feature to set higher objectives.

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

The Girls Rock! campaign was also able to offer some great tangible rewards for their supporters like merch packs including guitar picks and stickers, all the way up to exclusive merch designed by local artists and collaborators.

Laugh-A-Bull

$9,121 raised from 111 supporters.

During the lockdown that has been forced upon us due to COVID-19, one Melbourne dad decided it was time to take his passion for jokes and laughter to the next level. After being stood down from his job, Dan Stones went on to build a new character, launch a new book and grow an engaged audience from scratch!

‏‏‏‎ ‎‎‏‏‏‎ ‎‎

One of the techniques used was to create social media profiles for the main character of the story, Hank. By doing this it allowed his voice to remain consistent throughout the duration of the project and give supporters a dedicated place to follow along.

Hank thanked each of the campaign’s supporters with dedicated posts, tagging supporters for further visibility and to extend the reach of each post to their own networks.

With a partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation, the campaign clearly communicated that they would be donating books to deserving kids with serious illness as a result of supporters’ pledges. This feel-good aspect, coupled with the memorable illustrations and designs from artist Cassie Fleming created a memorable experience for everyone who interacted with the campaign while it was running. Leah Flanagan New Album

$9,380 raised from 159 supporters

Leah Flanagan is a singer-songwriter from Darwin, Northern Territory. Her career as an independent touring musician has spanned over 10 years, releasing multiple independent albums along the way. She turned her hand to crowdfunding for the first time last month to presell copies of her latest studio album ‘Colour By Number’.

With some great content up her sleeve, Leah launched into a month-long campaign to promote the album and presell copies of her limited edition vinyl LP with artwork from the amazing Nungala Creative. She already had a core following of fans to convert into campaign supporters, via her various social media channels other platforms. We were also thrilled to share some of her content with the Pozible audience, who is always receptive to amazing musical projects. Check out her live video performance of ‘Aralia’ below.

Leah also shared a new single from the forthcoming album during her crowdfunding campaign, which was a fantastic way to give her fans and supporters a taste of the full-length album to come.
